Welcome to AMA

During your visit to the Arlington Museum of Art, you’ll experience the power of art to transport, inspire and engage. To prepare for your fun and memorable experience, peruse our Visitor Information for maps and directions, ticketing, group accommodations, tours, and upcoming events.

The Arlington Museum of Art is closed to the public until June 11 so we can prepare for our Summer 2022 exhibit.

Advance tickets for our summer exhibit will be available starting in early June.

Museum Hours starting June 11

Monday:  CLOSED
Tuesday–Saturday:  10am – 5pm
Sunday:  1pm – 5pm

The AMA is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

During inclement weather, we follow the Arlington Independent School District’s closure and delayed opening schedule.

Senior (age 55+):  $15.00
Adult (ages 19-54): $20.00
Youth (ages 13-18):  $15.00
Children (ages 2-12):  $5.00
Infant (ages 0-1):  FREE

AMA members receive FREE admission to all exhibitions. Please visit our membership page for information about different membership level benefits for individuals and families.

Welcome to Arlington, Texas! If you’re visiting us from out of town, make your trip-planning easier by first visiting the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau for information about local accommodations, transportation options, vacation packages, and more.

Tours & Groups

Do you like to take a deeper dive into the stories behind the art? As you explore our galleries, we recommend you take the AMA’s free self-guided tour! Once you arrive, you’ll be able to access our self-guided tour through your personal Android, iPhone, iPad, or other mobile devices with internet access (sorry, we don’t provide public WiFi). Since our self-guided tours have an audio component, we kindly request you only listen via earphones. You’re welcome to bring your own or you can rent earphones from us for $5 (quantities are limited).

English and Spanish language guided tours are available on a first come, first served basis. Visit our Events page for details.

Our knowledgeable staff and volunteers are available to give your group a guided tour of our current exhibition. Guided tours are available to groups that are between 10 and 20 people. If your group has more than 20 people, please let us know so that we can arrange for additional guides.
